Chilworth Manor Hotel is a lovely venue situated just outside southampton and close to the M3. The Manor house itself is easy to find as is part of the Chilworth Business Park and set in an exclusive part of Southampton.
There is a sweeping drive which is fantastic for shots of the wedding car arriving as there are several places that I can hide in the bushes! The first area that you see when you arrive through the doors is a very large open plan galleried room, this room is very airy and certainly there are no light issues for capturing the perfect image on a rainy day!
The ceremony room is off to one side and is one of the larger rooms in hotels that you will find. The venue really comes into its own on sunny days spent on the terraced area out the back of the hotel, the grounds are really stunning for Wedding Photography with some very mature gardens and little secret spots that make really intimate images.
My favourite room for the wedding Breakfast is the conservatory which has fairy lights to the ceiling is very special when all set out. The couple of times I have visited Chilworth Manor Hotel they have had a couple of Weddings on the same day but they do a great job of keeping the events separate and private and the feeling that it is your special day is very much evident.
