Ok I have a confession to make, I have a reason for choosing this as one of my favourite Wedding Venues... My Wife and I got married here in September 2009!
If you love sailing, boats and the water then I do not feel there is a better venue than HISC on the South Coast, the views from the Main Dining Room cannot be matched. Your guests will see sailing boats bobbing along in Chichester Harbour during the Wedding Breakfast which leads to great conversation pieces and when the room is laid out... put simply, it is breath-taking.
The Sailing Club do not do many weddings which means the venue retains a very exclusive feeling and I have always felt, both as a member here and photographer that the staff really do go the extra mile, or nautical mile in this case.
Overnight accommodation is also excellent as it is so reasonably priced with the Sailing Chalets providing a basic, but perfect nights sleep after the dancing of the night before... then you wake up and you are literally on the beach!
The beach gives so many opportunities for photography from splashing around in the water through to simple arm in arm shots walking along the seashore.
