I cover weddings all over the country and this review is about a wedding that took me to the Cotswolds!
The Bay tree is a lovely venue in the village of Burford. The town it typical Cotswolds with a high street with stunning Cotswold stone and little character shops and boutiques.
The Hotel itself is an old coaching house with stunning gardens that are really intimate and maintained to perfection.
You can also get married outside here in the conservatory room or indoors, both are lovely spots and t he day cannot be ruined by the weather! The conservatory is where the party starts in the evening which has a modern feel to it but just a few steps away is a medieval style staircase and suits of armour!
A very unique venue with a special feel that has something for everyone!

Our walled garden is everything an English country garden ought to be: romantic, intimate and secluded. And with our elegant Summer House positioned right in the middle, you don’t get many better locations than this for a summer wedding amidst manicured lawns and rambling roses.
Combine all of this with delicious food from our carefully tailored menus and plenty of fizz poured by our team of experienced staff, and we offer the character and service quality that will inspire the memories of an unforgettable day.
And it doesn’t end there. With 21 beautifully designed bedrooms and suites, there’s no need for carriages at midnight, or even the next day – why not make a weekend of it!
